The Beginning of the Journey…
It all began with a glass of wine.
Andrea, known to her friends as the "hostess with the mostest," completed her education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in the late ‘90s. Andrea's love of wine began when she took a foreign wines class her senior year. That love has continued into her career as a Corporate Event Manager and motivated her into taking the WSET Wine Certification.
The idea for Vineacular was born to make wine more accessible to everyone. Some of the questions on Andrea’s mind:
How could she develop a wine experience to teach others to appreciate wine?
What is it that they relish so much in their favorite bottle?
How could she create an inviting and educational experience for people to savor with the ones they enjoy spending time with the most?

As a Level 2 certified wine enthusiast (WSET), Andrea is passionate about wine and enjoys teaching others how to discover that special glass or bottle that you might not have discovered. She will share how to determine what you are seeing, smelling, and tasting in your glass. She will also share wine terminology so that you will come away more knowledgeable about wine. She is convinced that no one should ever judge a bottle by its cover…or label!
